Special Containment Procedures: When not in testing or recording, SCP-1911 is to be kept inside Containment Locker 26 at Site-██ and is to be securely held by a dual mechanical lock and key. If testing is approved by two (2) or more Level 2 Personnel, SCP-1911 is to be then escorted by two (2) security guards to a 2 x 2 x 3 meter reinforced iron room, installed with 2 x 3 meter soundproof glass to obstruct any form of incoming auditory sound waves greater than ca. 15 dB.
D-Class subjects after listening to SCP-1911, are ordered to a three (3) hour psychiatric evaluation to ensure proper condition of mental state. If, however, the subject's mental health is shown to have below-standard results, they are to be immediately euthanized.
Description: SCP-1911 is a TDK D-C60 compact cassette player made on the date of █/██/1979, that is capable of a common speech-quality tape with a 60-minute playing time. SCP-1911 contains two miniature spools, in which lie between a magnetically coated plastic tape that is passed and wound. The spools and their attendant parts are kept together within a protective plastic shell, in which the two (2) stereo pairs of tracks (four total) or two (2) monaural analog audio tracks are available on the tape. SCP-1911 functions normally as most compact cassette tapes, containing one stereo pair or one monophonic track that is played or recorded when the tape is moving in one direction and the second pair when moving in the other direction.
SCP-1911 is inactive when not played on any audio recordings, but when placed onto a cassette player and the user hits the "play" button, SCP-1911 will begin to play a randomly orchestrated compilation of rock music (approximately seven (7) to eight (8) songs have been recorded to play as of █/██/20██) dating from █/██/1971 to █/██/1989. When the user begins to hear one of the following recordings of SCP-1911, he/she will begin to encounter visual hallucinations of what seems to be following the designated song's lyrics or determining what the song represents. Testing has shown that the subject appears to fall into a trance state of relaxation from an unaffected user's perspective. When a subject is forcefully removed from the influence of SCP-1911 or one abruptly pauses the recording during a song playing, the affected subject will appear to be heavily agitated, and begin to constantly ask to listen to SCP-1911 for, what they claim, just a few more minutes. Personnel are ordered to not listen to more than one (1) full recording of SCP-1911, as the subject gradually lose their intelligence, and their ability to preform complex tasks the more they are exposed to. After a period of time being removed from SCP-1911, subjects (both male and female alike) begin to exhibit uncommon, yet temporary side effects. Such would be: have a preference to 70-80's clothing and style, skin may change to various neon colors, begin to support "hippie" movement and/or subculture (whether or not the user shows like against such groups), and prefer to common leisure activities that teenagers had done during the 70-80's.

| "Rock you like a Hurricane" by Scorpions, 1984 | 4 minutes, 11 seconds | The subject wakes up inside a slightly deteriorated wooden home laying on a small bed, the weather remains calm for approximately two (2) minutes of duration. At this point, the climate begins to worsen and wind speeds begin to highly excel in strength. Soon, the sky darkens and large quantities of hail begin to touch the ground. After three seconds, lightening strikes begin to come down every five (5) to seven (7) seconds, in which subjects describe them to be "louder than the ones in real life". Thirty (30) seconds after the hurricane begins, the subject is then raised off the ground and begins to be rocketed into the air by the high speed of winds, and appear to be carried off into an unknown field of tall grass. The subject appears to be unconscious, and remains in the same state for ten (10) seconds. Immediately, after the subject arises from their short slumber, the weather soon becomes clear, and no signs of any storm, is visible. |
| "American Pie" (Part 1 and 2) by Don McLean, 1971 | 8 minutes, 33 seconds | The affected subject appears to be one of the passengers of Flight #N3794 that had just taken off from Mason City on February 3rd, 1959. The subject as well seems to be sitting next to Buddy Holly, and sits inside the same row with Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper. After (2) minutes occur, Buddy Holly attempts to engage with the subject, and converse with him, often lasting for long periods of time. D-Class Personnel report Buddy Holly to be "very friendly, and will explain a nice chunk of his biography towards you", after three (3) minutes, the aircraft pilot announces that they are now flying over the Ohio countryside, and that they will soon reach their destination. Exactly one (1) minute after the announcement, the plane appears to be flying in severe weather, and begins to go over strong turbulence, followed by a loud metallic bang. The plane soon goes down, and the subject is told by Buddy Holly to get their head down, and the vision goes black. |
| "Let it Be" by The Beatles, 1970 | 3 minutes, 50 seconds | For the first thirty (30) seconds, the subject is dressed in a silk black suit and tie, and seem to be in a state of heavy depression and sadness, in which in front of them, claim to be their mother's (or any other siblings they had cherished in their life) grave. The subject then leaves the unknown cemetery and returns to the home they had lived in before being convicted to prison and sent into the Foundation, and sit upon a couch inside the Family Room. There, the subject's family members all gather around him/her and tell them the positive matters, and attempt methods to help the user recover from such loss, after two (2) minutes, the subject ceases crying, and embraces against his/her family, and begins saying thank you for "being with them after all had been thru". |
| "London Calling" by The Clash, 1979 | 3 minutes, 18 seconds | The subject wakes upon a destructed, disestablished London, and begins walking down the fiery, ruined streets for two (2) minutes before they completely stop, and witnesses starving citizens, walking midst the streets, constantly approaching the subject and begin ask hastily for food. After twenty (20) seconds, the subject feels a compulsion to urge the people to "hold up their own reigns" or "stand against this mockery". The subject then reports the people become increasingly ravaged, and begin to crowd the streets and throw objects at nearby government buildings. Every direction the subject goes, the citizens appear to follow him and chant out their name constantly, and cause extreme amounts of domestic violence across the city for the remainder of the hallucination until the song concludes. |
| "Kukushka" by Viktor Tsoi, 1981 | 3 minutes, 9 seconds | The subject seems to be in constant conflict with a friend, for the first thirty (30) seconds, the two begin to argue of how they should live their lives independently, and place aggression against themselves and others. Constantly being stressed by their quarrels, the subject begins to converse with their partner of what good they can agree with them, and what they should keep out of their reach. After two (2) minutes of peaceful conversing in between the two, the subject and their partner confess that they are both good companions, and would not have to head thru such troubles in the future. D-Class Personnel claim this to be one of the "most tear bringing moments inside their life", and soon, their vision goes blank. |
| "Jump" by Van Halen, 1983 | 4 minutes, 3 seconds | For the majority of the hallucination, it displays the subject in a visibly distraught form, outside of a tenth floor window of a skyscraper, pledging that he/she will commit suicide to the people on the street level. The civilians constantly beg the subject to not do such action. Soon, police units approach the subject slowly, and urge him/her to come back down, and soon talk with him/her to "resist the urge to jump". After a long period of time, the D-Class subject and the policeman had conversed, the officer soon reaches his hand out to the subject. After a short pause, the user subtly agrees with the man, and comes back into their room, and he/she immediately sits on a chair, looking somewhat relieved, and the subject closes their eyes, and fall asleep. |
| "Free Falling" by Tom Petty, 1989 | 4 minutes, 14 seconds | Previous subjects claim that they were currently in a high altitude environmental surrounding, and they describe that the day felt like "a Spring morning". For the next two (2) minutes, the user simply sits on a form of a nimbus cloud, appearing relaxed and lay in a dormant state. Soon, the user experiences a compulsorily to dive off of the cloud, and begin to skydive down towards the ground. The next forty (40) seconds feature the D-Class subject quickly flowing in the air, subjects had reported to feel no sense of their surrounds, and could not tell what was happening during that event. After an additional two (2) minutes, the subject begins to decrease in speed, and start to gently float towards the ground. Furthermore, the subject explains that they had begun to wake up within approximately thirty (30) seconds after their speed had gradually slowed down, and had claimed to remain in a calm tone until they had reached the ground level. There, they had suffered extreme confusion of what had just recently occurred, and appear to wander off into an unknown field. |
| "One" by Metallica, 1986 | 7 minutes, 28 seconds | D-Class Personnel report this to be the most violent hallucination that they were found in. The subject appears to be a survivor of a landmine explosion during the Vietnam Era, due to such explosion, the subject suffers from a traumatic brain disability. The subject becomes infuriated, and results them into being extremely aggressive to anyone of the first four (4) minutes. The subject claims that the only thing they could during such dream, was only "lie down and think" about such mind-affecting tasks that the war can place on such man. After one (1) minute, the subject then loses their tolerability against his current form, the user will then begin to bang their head constantly against the wall and attempt several methods of self harm. The user will begin screaming loudly for twenty (20) seconds, and soon, after two (2) minutes of abrupt silence, the subject grabs a kitchen knife, and begin slicing his/her throat open, laughing. |
