Special Containment Procedures: A 1.3m x 1.3m x .5m Extreme High Durability (XHD) steel storage box is to be maintained in the High Information Priority wing of Storage Area-09 for the purposes of housing SCP-XXXX. is to be stripped of all mechanisms involved with unlocking the box while leaving the locks functional. SCP-XXXX is to be stored in the XHD box at all times, except during testing. indefinitely. Each mechanism can only be unlocked by the Research Head, Area Director, and O5 approval.
The XHD box is to be stored in an unlighted 2m x 3m x 2.5m storage vault with one access point, to remain sealed at all times excepting testing periods. No entry into the vault is permitted at this time. Testing protocols are to involve two (2) Level 4 Research Heads, two (2) Foundation-trained proto-historical analysts, and D-Class subjects for assumption. No observation or testing of SCP-XXXX is currently permitted.1
Description: SCP-XXXX is an apparently ancient metal object, which has been identified in interviews with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 as a key. It is 1.23 meters long and resembles a spear tip covered in 23 carvings of various unidentified creatures, two of which appear to be artistic representations of [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED].
