Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Access to SCP-XXXX-1 is to be limited to D-Class personnel and level 2 researchers(see addendum XXXX-1). A security team consisting of two armed personnel are to be stationed outside SCP-XXXX-1’s containment area at all times.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be taken into custody immediately upon their appearance. Security personnel are authorized to terminate any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 that attempts to evade capture. In the event an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 successfully evades capture, containment procedure Lambda-Seven is to be executed in the surrounding region.

Following acquisition, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to undergo thorough debriefing. Following this, subjects are to be terminated immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a .5x.5x1 meter pedestal composed of an unknown metal. An illuminated rectangular button is situated at the top of this pedestal. While the function of this button is currently unknown, SCP-XXXX-1 has come to the attention of the Foundation due to its secondary property.

SCP-XXXX seems to produce humans at irregular intervals. Individuals produced by SCP-XXXX-1(henceforth classified as SCP-XXXX-2) lack any anomalous properties, with the exception of their alleged identities and the knowledge they possess. Subjects almost always claim to be operatives of the Foundation, although no record of these individuals exists. Subjects typically appear to be research personnel D-Class personnel (See Addendum XXXX-2). Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 claim to have been assigned to determine the function of SCP-XXXX, although no such tests have been carried out at this time.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have demonstrated intricate knowledge of the Foundation and its facilities. This knowledge presents a significant security hazard. In addition, subjects often express anger and discontent as a result of their detainment (see interview log XXXX-R).

Addendum XXXX-1: Following incident XXXX-A, access to SCP-XXXX-1 is to be limited to D-Class Personnel.
-O5-█

Addendum XXXX-2: Following O5 directive limiting access to SCP-XXXX-1 to D-Class personnel, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 now bear the appearance of D-Class personnel.

Interview XXXX-R

Interviewer: Dr. ███████:
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX-2 discovered on 05-06-20██

<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. ███████: Would you mind telling us your name?

SCP-XXXX-2: For the fiftieth time, my name is Baker. Doctor Isaac Baker.

Dr. ███████: And what exactly do you do here at the Foundation?

SCP-XXXX-2: ███████, this isn’t funny. I’ve got work…

Dr. ███████: Please answer the question XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-2: XXX… No. No I'm no- I'm not an SCP! I'm a researcher!

SCP-XXXX-2 attempts to leave. Security personnel move in to pacify SCP-XXXX-2. Subject returns to its seat.

Dr. ███████: I ask again, what do you do here at the Foundation?

SCP-XXXX-2: I-I'm head researcher at Site ██, currently assigned to study XXXX.

Dr. ███████: Head researcher?

SCP-XXXX-2: Yes! Dammit, ███, you know this! We've worked together for years, how can you not remember me?

Dr. ███████ is silent

SCP-XXXX-2: You know who I am ███, you need to be… you know what? Screw it. You won't believe me. Just like we didn't believe the last researcher, and those D-Class, and the other dozen people we fried. Oh, I know exactly what you're supposed to do with me after this interview. I wrote the fucking procedure.

SCP-XXXX-2 leaves its seat and takes a defensive stance as security team moves to subdue it

Dr. ███████: This interview is over.

//SCP-XXXX-2 lunges at Dr. ███████. Security team removes SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is terminated per containment protocol.
