Foreword: Subject D-████ received a paper cut on his index finger while reviewing his Orientation Leaflet. Subject was given 1 (one) strip of SCP-690 and quickly applied it to his finger. Every 5 (five) minutes said subject was questioned about his injury, and the strip temporarily removed to observe any physical changes.
Time Applied |
Noteable Actions |
Physical Examination |
Five Minutes |
Subject was asked how his finger felt. Subject stated it felt "Just fine." And thanked the observer. |
Subject's wound failed to close, causing an abnormal loss of blood for a wound of such nature. |
Ten Minutes |
Subject was asked if he had noticed any changes. Subject claimed to feel better. |
Slight redness and irritation around the area where SCP-690 was applied. |
Fifteen Minutes |
Subject was noted to continuously scratch the area around SCP-690. When questioned about the itching, subject responded with "It's part of the healing process." |
Skin began to raise up around the wound. Subject began to show the first symptoms of a staph infection. |
Twenty Minutes |
Subject was alerted he may be suffering from a staph infection. Subject simply ignored the observers. |
Subject's finger continued to swell, and a small amount of puss began to leak from the wound. Subject seemed irritated when taking off the strip. |
Twenty-Five Minutes |
Subject was offered medical attention for his wound. Subject denied and, again, claimed he was "Just fine." |
Subject began to secrete oils from the wound, which leaked through the strip. Swelling noted to accelerate. |
Thirty Minutes |
Subject began to become distressed due to his constant observation. Requested to be alone. (Denied) |
Swelling and moisture on subject's skin caused the strip of SCP-690 to fall off. The strip was reapplied, and subjects finger was wrapped with gauze. |
Thirty-Five Minutes |
Subject was asked to take the bandage off, to which he refused. Observers alerted subject that he would be terminated if he did not comply. Subject continued to refuse. An observer had to take the bandage off, and was met with little resistance. Testing concluded. |
N/A |
Post Experiment: Subject asked for another bandage before termination.
Item #: SCP-GARY
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-GARY is to be kept in one (1) liter containers at Site GARY with only personnel of Level Three (3) clearance or higher given the combination. Interactions and experiments involving SCP-GARY must be approved and observed by Dr. GARY. Unauthorized personnel found using SCP-GARY are to be given a disciplinary hearing. In the event of an emergency, SCP-GARY is to remain locked in its container.
Description: SCP-GARY is composed of (at the time of writing) approximately 7.5 liters of a brown tinted liquid containing ketamine, 25I-NBOMe, and an additional chemical that has yet to be identified by the foundation. SCP-GARY was discovered in a local farmhouse in the town of [REDACTED] after the Foundation received reports of local police conducting a drug bust involving the seizure of an "ugly drug". SCP-GARY's anomalous properties come from its reactions when taken orally, anally, or intravenously. When said methods are applied to a human being, users will experience intense euphoria and happiness much greater than typical (recreational) doses of ketamine or 25I-NBOMe would produce. Above all, SCP-GARY causes permanent abnormal changes in body shape causing the user to appear more distasteful, as well as what has been described by users as an urge to love.
Increased use of SCP-GARY has caused users to grow additional limbs, lose defining body parts such as skin or facial features, and even evolving into grotesque, fear inducing figures that make the user seem unrecognizable. Said effects begin to take place upon the intake of at least 250 ml of SCP-GARY. Users may become aggressive upon the intake of at least 420 ml of SCP-GARY, resulting in rape and molestation attempts. Although potentially aggressive and violent, users will claim to feel sympathy for anyone they have, or are currently inflicting harm on, and will apologize if possible.
SCP-GARY has been found to be highly addictive with an 70% chance of users becoming addicted upon the first use. Withdraws include symptoms similar to methamphetamine, which include cravings for more doses, depression, anxiety, shaking or tremors, hyperventilation, and even death. This may force users to take more, which can cause them to go into advanced stages of mutation or face death.
Total Amount Taken |
Physical Changes |
Noteable actions and Requests |
75 ml |
None observed |
Subject claimed to have felt confident, and attracted to himself. Subject began to apologize for his previous crimes, and asked foundation personnel to forgive him. |
125 ml |
Subjects nose was noted to be elongated and slightly curved to the right. |
Subject demanded to see a researcher, and requested a "sitter" to watch over him. |
200 ml |
Subject gained bags below his eyes, and joints became bony and appeared undernourished. |
Subject began to kiss the walls of his cell while humming out of tune. |
300 ml |
Subjects ribs began to break at the sternum and expand outward, creating an extra cavity in his chest. |
Subject began to masturbate while continuing to hum in a more distorted fashion. |
425 ml |
Subject began to gain muscle mass around the cavity formed on his chest, and the subjects face began to wrinkle, mainly around the mouth. |
Subject attempted to break containment, and began searching for ways out to no avail. Humming and masturbation continued. |
500 ml |
Subjects broken ribs began to pierce through the skin, and showed signs of joints forming around the sides of his rib cage. Researchers left room and subject was transported to a nearby observation chamber. |
Subject began an attempt to flirt with researchers observing him, and began begging for a "heart to heart" hug. |
600 ml |
Subject refused to talk, and simply continued humming in the distorted tune described at 300 ml. Skin around subjects mouth overlapped, and subjects eyes were noted to drop 3cm. Chest cavity became an active replacement for subjects mouth, with protruding bones being used as teeth. Subject began to mutate exponentially at this point. |
Subject broke containment and attacked female researcher GARY, and attempted to engulf her head with subjects newly formed "mouth" while thrusting against her. Subject continued to hum loudly until he was terminated by security. Researcher GARY died later in the infirmary from shock and blood loss. |

Contaminated individual trying to prevent further irritation from SCP-X-J |
Item #: SCP-X-J
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the widespread nature of SCP-X-J, SCP-X-J is impossible to contain. SCP-X-J currently poses no major threat to the foundation or society, however, the foundation is to maintain a constant effort to study this anomaly and report any changes in behavior to an O5. Failure to report changes within 24 hours will result in severe disciplinary action.
Description: SCP-X-J is an unrecognized strain of bacteria that thrives in environments unique to other similar organisms. SCP-X-J is most commonly found within the interior of motorized vehicles, and within the ear canals of infected individuals. It is unknown where SCP-X-J originated from, but it has been confirmed that the bacteria is spread through physical contact with surfaces hosting SCP-X-J. When a subject places his head against a surface hosting SCP-X-J, the bacteria travels onto the scalp and travels towards the ear canal. SCP-X-J then manifests itself within the subject's ear and feeds off of skin and nerve cells. SCP-X-J's anomalous properties occur when the subject's head is vibrated, making the subject feel an intensely uncomfortable itching sensation. Said subjects will become irrationally stressed, and when questioned, claim that they "Just want to get some goddamn sleep." Observation and analysis shows that the irritation is cause by SCP-X-J attaching itself to available nerve cells and sending signals to the brain making the subject have the strong urge to keep their head from vibrating.
Experiment Log ¦¦¦¦: Subject D-1950 was found to already be contaminated with SCP-X-J. D-1950 given a sleeping pill, and placed in the passenger side of a vehicle while a researcher drove the vehicle around a test track. Approximately 6 minutes into the test D-1950 placed his head against the window. The subject showed mild discomfort, but kept his head against the window. As testing continued D-1950 showed increased irritation and began to insert his finger into his ear canal in an attempt to remove whatever was causing the discomfort. D-1950 informed the researcher "It feels like there's bugs or some shit in my ear." Once D-1950 realized putting his head against the window would continue to cause discomfort, D-1950 attempted to rest his head against the seat belt that was strapped over his shoulder, only to find that the seat belt would simply press against the window and continue irritation. D-1950 began swearing, at which point the researcher stopped the car and concluded testing.
Experiment Log ¦¦¦¦: Infected subject D-1978 had his head strapped to the window of a diesel truck operated by Agent ¦¦¦¦. Agent ¦¦¦¦ then proceeded to drive over a rocky stretch of land. D-1978 began requesting that the strap be removed so he can "scratch whatever the fuck is in my ear." Request denied. Agent ¦¦¦¦ began to drive faster, at which point D-1978 began shouting and swearing demanding that Agent ¦¦¦¦ turn the engine off, or at least be given "a goddamn Q-tip." Request denied. D-1978's breathing began to increase, and expressed severe pain and discomfort. Approximately 12 minutes into testing, D-1978 begins to hyperventilate and goes unconscious. Testing concluded.
