Contact Parasite3:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Each new instance of SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an individual sealed vial of water in a secure lab with ample 24 hour lighting at Site-██. The lab is required to have a custom eye wash station that sends the water to a evaporator in the lab instead of being sent into the sites septic system.
Testing on SCP-XXXX must be authorized by level 3 personnel and overseen by a level 2 researcher. Class D personnel may be used for all testing purposes that require humans.
To avoid spreading instances of SCP-XXXX, all Class D personnel used in testing must have their eyes washed out until there are no traceable instances of SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-A may be detected by applying solutions of tropicamide to the host's eye.
Description: SCP-XXXX is any instance of a mostly harmless parasitic life form that has fused itself into a contact lens and appears as an arrangement of two infinite loops and an asterisk of the Times New Roman font. SCP-XXXX has shown several stages of growth wherein all premature forms are transparent. Once it has matured it remains transparent but can emit white light any any time. It's varies from microscopic to the size of the contact lens it inhabits. There are an unknown number of instances of SCP-XXXX.
Any contact lens that has been infected by an instance of SCP-XXXX will cause the wearer to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX instances have three stages of growth identified by Foundation researchers:
- Seed (or SCP-XXXX-A)
- Embryonic (or SCP-XXXX-B)
- Adult (or SCP-XXXX-C)
During the seed stage, SCP-XXXX instances are suspended in the aqueous layer of the eye of an infect lens, on average it can be found in quantities above four hundred-thousand instances. It will remain within the layer until it encounters tears or other liquid substances. When SCP-XXXX-A leaves the aqueous layer it will remain alive as long as it is hydrated. Water containing sufficient amounts of SCP-XXXX-A is infectious and will allow transfer of the life form. If evaporation occurs, any instances within will die. SCP-XXXX-A are similar in size to that of unicellular algae. At this stage, SCP-XXXX-A can be detected by using tropicamide which discolors the eye to a bright orange.
Once an instance of SCP-XXXX-A has found a vacant host it will begin the process of attaching itself to the contact lens. This process is has yet to be identified. Only one instance of SCP-XXXX-A can be housed in a single lens. After initial attachment has finished, the embryonic stage begins and SCP-XXXX-B will filter light through it's new body, the lens. While absorbing light it will grow in size until reaching maturity. SCP-XXXX-B can die it dried out.
After absorbing 1.332e+008 joules from light passing through SCP-XXXX-B, it enters the adult stage. Now fully fused to the lens it can emit light at varying intensities and colors by will. It has also shown the ability to choose which characters emit light. All attempts to dry out and kill SCP-XXXX during this stage have been failures. SCP-XXXX-C will procreate during prolonged lengths of darkness.
The exact method by which SCP-XXXX-C reproduces is unknown, but it only occurs after 3.78 hours of darkness. SCP-XXXX-C produces average amounts of SCP-XXXX-A 5.56 hours later.
SCP-XXXX can be captured alive after it manifests at the SCP-XXXX-C stage. SCP-XXXX-1 hosts are often found after reporting to their optometrist of seeing SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A can be found through screening but is too costly to be used.
The first instance of SCP-XXXX was found on ██/██/20██ in [REDACTED] after a host complained about lights coming from their contact lenses were keeping them awake at night to their optometrist.
There are currently 4,913 different instances of SCP-XXXX stored at Site-██.

Cargo Car4:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to travel along internally designated rail lines J3-J7 on its 2124.33 kilometer daily journey and is to maintain speeds of at least 89KPH throughout. It is pulled by four JR Freight Class HD300 locomotives and accompanied by two tank cars, two crew cars, and two flat cars. SCP-XXXX and it's containment entourage are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A. SCP-XXXX-A is to be coupled in the following order: HD300, HD300, fuel car, crew car, flat car, SCP-XXXX, flat car, crew car, fuel car, HD300, HD300.
SCP-XXXX-A includes two Komatsu WA500-6 wheel loaders equipped to lift and move SCP-XXXX-A segments, they should be secured to the flat cars at all other times. One crew car is to be fitted to house Class D personnel and security personnel and the off duty driving team, called the Secondary Quarters. The second crew car, denoted as Primary Quarters being fitted to house all other personnel. Each fuel car is to be filled with diesel fuel for all remote fueling needs during each scheduled stop.
Radiation sensors are to be attached to SCP-XXXX and wired to the Primary Quarters for monitoring via computer equipment. Anti-radiation medical supplies and suits are to be stored in the Secondary Quarters along food, water, and firearms for security officers.
SCP-XXXX-A may request a stop while within reach of a Foundation authorized train yard no earlier than 1 day in advance. A Level 2 personnel is required to make all transactions with the public at any authorized stop. The L2 personnel should leave SCP-XXXX-A to make arrangements with the Foundation for refueling and resupplying while SCP-XXXX-A continues on without them. SCP-XXXX-A is to return no later than 3 days after to pick up the personnel and supplies and resume regular Procedures. Class D personnel resupply is scheduled for every twenty-seven days.
The Containment Crew of SCP-XXXX-A consists of two teams of 3 to 4 Level 0 personnel trained in driving the locomotives, 8-10 level 1 security personnel to maintain order of Class D personnel, 4 to 6 Level 1 personnel trained to repair and maintain aforementioned locomotives and cars, 2 to 3 Level 2 personnel to overseer containment, and 6 to 8 Class D personnel trained in the use of heavy equipment. All containment crew members should be dressed appropriately to maintain public ignorance.
If SCP-XXXX-A has to stop for any reason other than resupplying in a train yard, Class D personnel are to use the heavy loaders to move SCP-XXXX-A segments onto open tracks to continue Containment Procedures.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a set double stacked cargo containers bolted to a well car. The containers are 16.15m in length and made by Pacer Stacktrain, the well car was made by TTX. The containers are labeled GHOS 46C186 and GHOS 46C187 respectively and the road number of the well car is: V59R46Z. The containers are empty.
SCP-XXXX was acquired by the Foundation after its initial incident that occurred on ██/██/████.(See Incident Log 0) The object was previously owned by [REDACTED] railroad company but has since been purchased by the Foundation, all formal train crew has been issued standard amnestics, and all other records of SCP-XXXX have been incinerated.
When SCP-XXXX is not moving along rail tracks at designated speeds it will begin to emit an exponentially increasing amount of ionizing radiation in all directions; however, once SCP-XXXX-A has reached the required traveling speeds, no emissions can be detected from SCP-XXXX. During an instance when SCP-XXXX is emitting radiation any track or train car touching the object have shown no adverse effects normally seen in metal and other materials. Initial testing demonstrated SCP-XXXX's invulnerability to damage and the bolts securing the containers to the flat car proved to be irremovable. The numbers on SCP-XXXX are not associated with any known railroad and documentation found prior to acquisition show that SCP-XXXX had a different set of road numbers.
SCP-XXXX is currently traveling within rail lines J3-J7 as per Procedure. Monthly and requested resupplies have all been without incident.
Incident Logs:
Incident Log 0: On ██/██, ██/██, and ██/██ of ████ train yards in [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED] respectively all reported major radiation accidents involving several dozen people. The Foundation became aware of these incidents and sent an Agent to investigate. Shortly thereafter on ██/██/████ SCP-XXXX was found and Special Containment Procedures were developed.
