Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a standard sized humanoid containment cell. The walls are to be lined with no less than 25.5 mm of calcium silicate. No amenities made of inflammable material are to be permitted. Sprinkler systems are to be installed and no less than two fire suppression devices are to be kept within 5 feet of the containment cell at all times. Under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX allowed to exit its cell. Authorized personnel entering SCP-XXXX's containment must wear a vermiculite fire proximity suit at all times.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a male human child, aged 12 years old as of 3/27/███ and measures 41.3 kg in weight and 149.1 cm in height. It is unclear when SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties manifested. SCP-XXXX was recovered from the remains of a building in the town of ███, NC in December of ███. The charred remains of two humans were found, presumed to be the parents of SCP-XXXX. No survivors of the fire were located.

SCP-XXXX is known to combust into flame with little to no prior warning. The average temperature of these flames is measured at 400 degrees Celsius, though it appears that SCP-XXXX does not suffer burns or dermal damage that would be expected at these temperatures. Despite this, it appears that SCP-XXXX feels pain consistent with severe burns for up to an hour after each incident of combustion. An interview with SCP-XXXX seemed to reveal that it is not capable of controlling when these combustions occur, nor is it able to stop them.

Dr. ███: Hello, SCP-XXXX. My name is Doctor ███.
SCP-XXXX: I don’t know who that is. You have the wrong person. I didn’t do anything! My name is Daniel.
Dr. ███: SCP-XXXX, are you aware that you were the cause of a fire that destroyed a residential home and caused the loss of two lives?
*Whimpering is heard from SCP-XXXX*
Dr. ███: Are you consciously aware that you are able to cause fires in this manner?
SCP-XXXX: I want to go home, I don’t understand what you’re doing to me… where’s my mom?
Dr. ███: You may not go home. How did you cause the fire? Do you know?
SCP-XXXX: I didn’t do anything wrong! Please… I just want to leave. I don’t understand what’s happening.
*Sobbing is heard from SCP-XXXX
Dr. ███ As I said, you may not go home. I’ll allow you to collect yourself before we continue.

Interview Log XXXX-02

Forward: Interview conducted one day after initial containment. No signs of anything amiss were noticed by Dr.███ before fire erupted within the containment cell, originating from SCP-XXXX. Sprinkler systems proved inadequate to contain the blaze; potassium bicarbonate was used as an extinguisher. SCP-XXXX did not cease screaming for 33 minutes and did not resume normal activities for 123 minutes.

Dr. ███: Feeling calmer now?
*Silence from SCP-XXXX*
Dr. ███: This is the safest place for you. It is in your best interest to be here.
SCP-XXXX: I didn’t do anything wrong. I was asleep and when I woke up I was being taken here and everything hurt.
Dr. ███: You were involved in a fire. You were the only survivor. You don’t remember?
SCP-XXXX: No.
Dr. ███: We found an instance of a primary school building you were inside catching fire. Several rooms were destroyed. Do you remember that?
*Silence from SCP-XXXX*
Dr. ███: Should I take that as a yes?
*An explosion is heard, the sound of water running and screaming from SCP-XXXX.*
