Director Gombrich,

I have come to believe that images of SCP-049-J posses a minor memetic effect - I myself have possibly fallen for its effects, and reported to the medical bay. Please investigate and remove the images off the file off the SCP-049-J files.

Thanks,

Dr. Schoenberg

After the initial containment of SCP-049-J, we ran all the basic memetics tests - Dr. Nothomb assures me that SCP-049-J poses no threat, at least in terms of memetics. Absolutely no compulsion to aide in its survival or reproduction is reported in testing, and it's been a while since we had these in containment - in fact, the last time something came up about SCP-049-J was 6 years ago, and that was because we discovered that it also can affects cows, and that's about it.

Thanks for your concern though - the Memetics Department have reviewed your concern, and has found no anomalous memetic effects of SCP-940-J or the images of them.

Director Gombrich,

I would recommend am immediate deletion of all images related to SCP-049-J - I believe that the imagery associated with it has anomalous memetic influence that poses significant threats for any sentient being that perceives it.

Plus, it's just an image. There's no harm in removing it, and you would make the article much more readable and safe without it.

Thanks,

Dr. Schoenberg

The pictures are there because it's a very helpful visual aide - when there's a picture, it's easier for any other researchers to understand what it looks like. Aside from special cases such as visual cognitohazards, Most SCP files have an image because it aides in understanding the object, and is useful in discovering new instances in the open or recontainment in the event of a breach. I don't believe this is a special case.

Also, I have just checked my records, and it shows that you are not even currently assigned to SCP-049-J; while it is not forbidden, what has brought your attention to SCP-049-J?

Director Gombrich,

I was just looking through early case files - I actually had no knowledge of SCP-049-J prior to reading the file last week. I had such an adverse effect upon seeing the image, I was overcome with a wave of nausea and disgust and could not finish reading the file.

Since the file is of Level 1 clearance, I have opted to change the file myself.

Thanks,

Dr. Schoenberg

While minor edits are fine, such an alteration constitutes as a major change and is not allowed despite your clearance level. I have reverted the edit, and please do not do so again.

Dr. Schoenberg

An abnormally large amounts of edit were done to the SCP-049-J file and the RAISA system thought it was under attack - please don't do it again. Please do not edit the file again on your behalf, thank you. Please don't make me find an IT person to lock you out of that specific file or the system.
