Special containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked container. Any and all jewelry is to be removed before entering the room and removing SCP-XXXX from its container
Description: Ring that, when worn, induces a random mood in its user. Has been known to induce extreme depression, rage, euphoria, fear, and indifference, among others. Ring is made of the same materials as a normal dollar store mood ring, excluding the exceedingly small needles, comprised of an unknown substance. Attempts to disassemble the ring have been unsuccessful, as the ring, and its "offspring" reassemble within an hour.
The ring has been noted to multiply, altering any jewelry within a one (1) meter radius to have the exact properties of SCP-XXXX. This was discovered after a D Class subject with multiple piercings, including nasal, ear, lip, tongue, stomach, and [DATA EXPUNGED]. Within one hour, subject complained of itching sensation surrounding the sites of their piercings. Thirty minutes later, subject was rendered catatonic and died within five minutes. Posthumous cranial scans reveal that subject's brain was distorted due to extreme doses of [DATA REDACTED]. All pieces of jewelry were immediately removed and personnel were searched to prevent another such incident.
All piercings and jewelry removed from subject are classified as SCP-XXXX-A1 through SCP-XXXX-A29. Piercings and jewelry removed from personnel are classified as SCP-XXXX-B1 through SCP-XXXX-B15
