Item Name: Metalmorphic Lifeform

Special Containment Procedures: SPC-### is to remain within the confines of a five by five by five 10x10 meter room at location [DATA EXPUNGED] at all times. Room is to be made of soled cement and only Level 4 personnel or higher may “view” SPC-###. When entering SPC-###’s confinement all personnel are to be scanned for the level of minerals in their body, have all metallic objects on their person to be removed, and MUST carry short range EMP transmitters.
Description: First discovered in 19██ SPC-### in it’s based state appears to be a metallic liquid similar to mercury. The liquid has been discovered to move on it’s own and showed signs of intelligence, taking on forms that were presented to it. In 19██ SPC-### took on a more humanoid appearance for the first time, and while things at first seemed to be fine the life form quickly turned violent and killed two Level 2 Personnel. Since that time SPC-### has killed everyone and everything that entered it’s confinement.
SPC-### is a lifeform made of metal. It is able to absorb, expunge, liquefy, harden, reshape, condense and expand all metal within it’s body. Besides it’s liquid form, SPC-### has shown to take on various different shapes and sizes. However SPC-### seems to be quite fond of three specific forms. It’s “Humanoid” Form takes the appearance of a hunched backed humanoid with razor sharp claws and teeth. It’s “Attack” form’s appearance has a humanoid shaped head and torso, however it’s arms appear similar to the arms of a praying mantis, while the lower have of it’s body takes on an egg shape, and is held 1 meter of the ground by 4 spider like legs.
SPC-###’s “Beast” form takes on the appearance of a large, 10 meter long Scorpion. The Humanoid torso becomes level with the egg shaped low body, sprouting two extra pairs of legs, and replacing the original arms with two large pincers, and growing a long tail with a stinger. The head remains attached to the torso, growing a larger mouth with thousands of sharp teeth. SPC-### becomes more animalistic in this forum, and becomes capable of firing large metal spikes from it’s pincers and tail. The only way to return SPC-### to it’s base liquid state is to blast it with a short range EMP.
Over the past ██ years SPC-### has been contained, the life form has grown increasingly intelligent, stronger, more devious, and dangerously sadistic (see Addendum ###-A and Addendum ###-E). Several attempts have been made to destroy SPC-### but due to resent discovery of it’s advanced metalmorphic it may take some time to destroy it. (see Addendum ###-B).

Addendum ###-B- Termination attempt via SCP-682:
Letter from Doctor ████ to Doctor Gears,
Dear sir,
I wish to inform you of our recent attempt to terminate SPC-###. Although you ordered us never to attempt this procedure we chose to use SCP-682 in this latest attempt. Everyone here at the facility believed that, one way or another, by the end of this experiment, we would be rid of at least one of them. Here is the detailed report on what happened.
00:05- SCP-682 enters ###’s containment chamber.
00:15- SCP-682 attacks ### and [DATA EXPUNGED].
00:40- SCP-682 steps away from ###’s remains and attempts to escape the chamber.
05:10- SCP-682 contained and removed.
10:07- D-Class personnel are sent into chamber
10:58- D-Class personnel recover a few ### shards using EMP devices and hand the to security personnel.
11:12- D-Class personnel ordered to begin cleaning up.
13:28- SPC-### emerges from the largest of the remaining puddles and proceeds to kill all D-Class personnel.
13:32- EMP devices are turned one reducing SPC-### to it’s base state, all D-Class Personnel are already terminated.
As you can see, the latest termination attempt failed, however it’s what we discovered afterwards that truly astounded us. Upon closer examination of the shards we discovered that one of the 2 inch shards weighed about 20 pounds. This came as quite a shock to us, but proved your theory on SPC-###’s ability to condense vast amounts of metal within a very small space. In order to further prove this discovery we were able to recover a small 5 inch round ball from SPC-###. Much to our shock, we discovered this particular ball weighed ███ Metric Tons!
In short, congratulations are in order. You were right all along, and I hope you consider our research when you are overlooking employee evaluations next month.

Addendum ###-E
Report on ###: Incident 41
Confirmation on SPC-###’s sadistic nature, ability to speak, and ability to use powers at a distance.
There Class D-Personnel were sent into SPC-###’s chamber to collect further samples for study. They entered the room with short Ranger EMP devices attached, however D-2 forgot to turn his on. He suddenly began moving on his own, removing the EMP devices from the other two D-Classes and destroying the devices. Once all three devices were destroyed, SPC-### sprung to life and proceeded to [DATA EXPUNGED].
The chamber was flooded with EMP waves so the bodies and samples could be recovered. Before departing one of the level 5 personnel turned to the liquefied ### and asked it why does it continue to kill everyone. Not expecting an answer, the individual was shocked when ### replied with the words “Because It’s fun to kill.” All personnel were removed from the chamber immediately.
An autopsy on D-2 later discovered that he had an extremely high trace of cobalt in his blood. From hence forth all personnel entering SPC-###’s chamber are to be scanned and make sure their EMP transmitter is on.
