Item #: SCP-574
Object Class: Euclid
Containment Procedures: SCP-574 is located within Containment Site 105, which is surrounded by a razorwire-topped fence three meters high. Warning signs are posted every ten meters. The main gate has a small guardhouse. The perimeter is frequently patrolled by armed Level 1 guards. A Level 3 overseer stays at the guardhouse and is responsible for maintaining SCP-574. All guards must wear ear protection at all times. It must be noted that the personnel are present only in order to prevent people from being lured onto the site.
The interior of SCP-574 is monitored by both cameras and high-definition microphones. Any anomalies in sound or floor rearrangement are to be reported immediately.
Description: SCP-574 is a former ███████ ███████████ ██████████ agricultural machinery plant in █████████, Romania.
The ground level floor of SCP-574 shifts randomly when walked upon, creating gaps to the basement foundation ten meters below. The holes will open or close within seconds with no warning, and at least ██ people have fallen to their deaths. If a living human being is killed from this fall, the concrete floor will rapidly absorb the body into itself. Excavation has revealed damage to recovered bodies, visually similar to that which would be incurred through digestion. No unusual properties have been observed in the concrete itself.
The interior of SCP-574 emits a low tone which has the effect of luring people inside from as far away as 500 meters of the outside of the building. Analysis has revealed several infrasonic components. This is believed to be the reason why so many people have fallen to their deaths. Recorded copies of the noise do not produce the same effect. Ear protection or being deaf is sufficient to cancel the effect of SCP-574. Changes in pitch appear to coincide with the frequency of shifting; higher pitch results in more floor movement. Cameras and microphones monitor the site constantly so that some pattern might be determined eventually.
The following is a sample of the unusual noise heard inside SCP-574:

History: The factory was built in 191█. The interior burned out in 193█ and was written off as a total loss. ███ people were killed in the accident, at least half of them dying when a section of the floor collapsed. The building was emptied by 193█ but plans to demolish the building did not follow through due to cost. Light bombing damage was sustained during World War II. It is unknown when this phenomena began, as nothing unusual was reported in a 194█ site survey. Demolition was put off until 199█, when the █████████ council deemed it to be an eyesore and waste of valuable land. This is when the Foundation took an interest in SCP-574. The building and all land in a 600 meter radius was purchased and designated Containment Site 105.
Addendum 574-1: SCP-574 is becoming increasingly unstable, as the swampy land is making the foundations sink.

- The company is the fictional "Cezar Machinery Production" or "Cezar Masinilor Productia."
- The sound file was actually recorded in Chernobyl and then edited to sound even creepier. My applause to Jacob Kirkegaard. "Four Rooms," 2005.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an enclosed room, no less than ten (10) by ten (10) meters and four (4) meters tall. The area should be naturally lit, or at least lit with artificial lighting that mimics day and night cycles. Various furniture, coat racks, tall lamps and other assorted inanimate objects are to be placed around the interior. They are to be rearranged every three (3) days, and replaced with new fixtures every three (3) weeks.
Security is limited due to the nature of SCP-XXXX - a simple door is enough to keep it from escaping. During "awake" periods, anyone is free to enter the room and interact with the specimen. During "dormant" periods, all personnel are forbidden from entering.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a seven (7) meter long flatworm of an undetermined species. It somewhat resembles an off-white pork tapeworm (Taenia solium), except noticeably wider. There is a lack of a scolex, making determining which end is the "head" difficult. The skin is smooth , dry and warm to the touch.
The specimen moves by levitating, making circular or waveform patterns as it does so. On rare occasions, figure-eight and Golden spirals have been noted, but the significance of such behavior is unknown. When resting, the specimen will coil loosely around an object; this may include any humans standing in the room. Although this can be disconcerting at first, there is no danger to the wrapped person ^FOOTNOTE EXCEPTION. The worm is nocturnal; it rests for about two (2) hours in the dark, but more than six (6) during daylight hours. After a few days, SCP-XXXX apparently gets bored of its surroundings and moves faster and refuses to rest until some sort of change takes place. Every month, SCP-XXXX will go into a "dormant" state and rest continuously for anywhere from twelve (12) to twenty (20) hours. During this time, the specimen will grow cold to the touch. It is not known how it survives without any apparent intake of water or food.
Observers of SCP-XXXX note a strangely soothing felling when watching the specimen fly, wrap around objects or themselves. This property is absent if the worm is bored or resting. Attempts to acquire a tissue sample have been unsuccessful, as anyone attempting to take the sample will suddenly feel a powerful feeling of regret when approaching with equipment. Thermal scans of the room indicate that the worm will drop rapidly in temperature in these instances.
SCP-XXXX is docile unless otherwise provoked. Its habit of wrapping about things have given rise to the nickname "Bandage Worm." Grabbing the worm out of the air or attempting to pull it off an object will cause it to contract slightly. On occasion, the worm might fly out of the door when it is opened, but it focuses on exploring and can be gently guided back to its room. Approaching it when dormant is highly discouraged.
History: SCP-XXXX was discovered in 19██ in ███████, Kansas. During cleanup of one █████ █████████'s estate, the worm was found in the basement of the hoarder's house. The large amount of clutter (mainly lamps and chairs, for which SCP-XXXX seems to have a preference) meant there was no lack of things to explore. A notebook indicated that the old man knew of the specimen but did nothing to get rid of or interact with it. Where it came from before that is unknown.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe.
Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a concrete shed, 30x10x10 meters. It is to be chained onto a boat cradle to prevent rolling. A half-centimeter-thick layer of lead lines the entire room. The shed door is to be locked at all times, although because of the subject's static nature, it is unnecessary for security personnel to be kept on constant duty. Anyone entering the containment cell is to wear radiation gear, although the risk of contamination is low. Cameras and microphones should record the interior of the shed for any possible changes in behavior.
Description: SCP-XXXX is block in the shape of the inside of a standard railroad tanker car. It is roughly cylindrical at 15 meters long and 2 meters in diameter. There are a few protrusions where pipes were located. The subject is made of a very dark green, opaque glassy material with an appearance similar to obsidian. All methods of scanning have only been able to determine that it is hollow. The surface is smooth to the touch and remains at room temperature. It fluoresces yellow-green when exposed to ultraviolet and emits alpha radiation consistent with trace amounts of Uranium-238. The material is incredibly hard and absorbs shock extremely well. It makes a dull thudding sound when struck forcefully. Attempts to get a sample for testing have yet to be successful. A selection of experiments is detailed in Addendum XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXXa is an unknown life form living inside of SCP-XXXX. It periodically bangs on the interior of its container. On occasion, the entity will speak in a muffled, low monotonic male voice. Phrases are in heavily accented Norwegian. Attempts to communicate have failed. Other reactions are extremely rare. See Addendum XXXX-2 for recorded events.
The contents of SCP-XXXX have a weight of approximately 3 tons. Weight analysis shows that the center of gravity is constantly shifting, indicating that SCP-XXXXa is mobile within its shell.
History: SCP-XXXX was discovered in ████████, Norway in 20██. It was among several other abandoned train cars beside a set of unused railroad tracks. Scrappers attempted to move the specimen, only for it to bang and move on its chassis slightly. Attempts to see inside failed as SCP-XXXX resisted all attempts to open it. Tracing the partially unreadable serial number indicated it was last registered in Canada, meaning the car must have traveled overseas at some point. No other information was available from the identification. The car was purchased by the Foundation and moved to ████████████, where the tank was removed from around the specimen.
