Special Containment Procedures: SCP-808 is kept on location in the Abbey of ███████, Located in ███, Italy. The inner sanctum of the abbey is to be kept closed to all personnel and guarded. Only D-Class personnel are allowed into the sanctum for experimental purposes. In case of failure of any technical equipment, two guards are to monitor SCP-808-2 while two technicians make the necessary repairs. In they event of a ███████ event, the technicians are to evacuate immediately, guards are to bar the doors behind them.

The other rooms of the Abbey have been renovated for SCP foundation personnel comfort and laboratory testing.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-254 must come under no contact with anything living. SCP-254 is to be maintained in secure room 27-B at Site 25. No guards are required, but an access door requiring at least 0-5 clearance is necessary to enter the room. 254 is to be kept strapped to a gurney to allow for ease of transport if any further study is required in a different location. When requiring direct handling the following is needed:

• Personnel handling SCP-254 are required to wear at minimum gloves even if only coming into contact with the gurney during transport.

• For extensive testing personnel are required to wear full hazmat suits to minimize actual contact with SCP-254.

Description: SCP-254 appears to a be a corpse to any living creature viewing it.

corpse visual as it eats human described as ribs halfway enveloping victim and horrendously painful by all apparent sounds.
Agent/scientist gets sample as a victim is bieng absorbed, some for of acid?
corpse works on anything living, with the exception of insects. Test animals to consider: apes/monkey, humans (duh), dog, cat, insect, bird
corpse only responds to living flesh on itself (does corpse have clothing on? I'm thinking yes and it can just be a living added component of the corpse, perhaps a test log with samples?)
corpse is a cared for person in the event of humans, prey for bird and cat maybe, human owner for dog, monkey could be another monkey or handler. In the case of one D prisoner have it be himself (narcissistic much?)
Don't kill more than 2-3 D personnel and the above mentioned animals.
corpse is capture-able on film, but shows the same as above to whoever is viewing it…. or….. maybe we should just knock out the animal bit as it would ruin the camera bit I had in mind, so we can just have the corpse imagine depending on whoever views it, and just have it working on humans.
If we go with original idea of being able to see captured 'loved' person by a third party it would be difficult to say what happens when its a remote camera viewing it, not manned by anyone.
Also if we go with the idea what the picture just resembles someone loved by whoever is viewing it we should pick a picture that obscures the corpses sex and face for the reading audiences disbelief. Though that will smack of that on scp with the "video feed" with random pictures. Hrm. Quandary.
