Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must both be sealed in two seperate, transparent containers. Both instances must be fed twice every day, with both of live rats and regular store brand bird feed. The inclusion of domestic bird toys is pending approval. No less than two guards armed with tranquilizer guns must keep careful observation of both subjects. If there is a breach, care must be taken to keep subjects apart. [See Incident Report XXXX-A]

Description: SCP-XXXX are both adult avians of unknown origin. They become agitated during prolonged human contact. SCP-XXXX-1 displays vivid, bright plumage, and is male. While SCP-XXXX-2 does not, and is female. Genetic tracing reveals both avians are genetically bred from three original avian genes, Tyto Alba, Pavo Cristatus, and Melopsittacus Undulatus. SCP-XXXX-1 bears elongated upper-tail covert feathers, with eyes pots, as well as bright blue and green plumage and a crest. SCP-XXXX-2 also bears a crest, muted tan plumage, with teal underbelly. Both possess large eyes, Zygodactyl digits, Raptorial bills, and black coverts on the wings. Unidentified genetic modifications include the following in both instances, small serrated teeth, scale patterns on face, one claw per wing, and feather crests along the backs of the legs. SCP-XXXX both display ability to understand vocabulary, while SCP-XXXX-1 is able to mimics some words.

Addendum 1A: Though not supernatural, these specimens are far ahead of their time, and could pose as a significant threat to naturual biomes, and humans as well.

Addendum 1B: SCP-XXXX-2 carries increasingly severe genetic deformities, extra care should be taken when handling it.

Incident Report XXXX-A: Initial containment did not require specimens to be separated. Specimens were not sterile, gestation period was incredibly short, resulting [DATA EXPUNGED], two agents sent to infirmary, no extreme casualties. Hatchling was pronounced deceased.
