Decided to do one more crossover: a Black Lantern Ring. The idea is to treat it as a standard SCP. No jokes, no hidden references, just an item that is incredibly dangerous.

Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX-X are to be stored in Individual High-Security Containment Vaults at all times¹. Collectively, the IHSCVs are to be stored in Containment Cell #556353. Finally, a 'soft' cordon is to be maintained, demarcating an area 50m around CC556353. No corpses (or bodies soon to be dead) are to pass this cordon under any circimstances.

In the event of a containment breach, any person(s) targetted by an SCP-XXXX-X-Beta are to be tranquilized or killed as soon as possible. In the event of a decommissioned SCP becoming an SCP-XXXX-X-Beta, [EXPUNGED] at all cost.

SCP-XXXX-X was upgraded to Keter class on 01/10/200█, following concerns about the the 'Power Levels' SCP-XXXX-X has mentioned.

Description:" SCP-XXXX-X is a large black ring, of unknown origin. It is metallic, but the Foundation has been unable to ascertain its molecular composition. Instances of SCP-XXXX-X are nearly weightless, with a estimated mass of .1-.25g. On the 'face' of the ring is a symbol involving a circle, a triangle, and five vertical line. This symbol, approximating a human hand, is silver in appearance. When 'active', this symbol glows blightly.

SCP-XXXX-X is capable of moving of its own accord, although it only does so when it has detected a dead body within a range of 50m. Attempts to prevent instances of SCP-XXXX-X from seeking out its target has proved extremely difficult. One material known for stymieing SCP-XXXX-X is solid Osmium (Os). Once SCP-XXXX-X is within a close proximity to a corpse, it will proceed to a complex ritual of events (See Addentum-XXXX-X-1), reanimating it² . The reanimated corpse, designated SCP-XXXX-X-Beta, will immediately seek out a target.

SCP-XXXX-X-Betas are extremely dangerous and skilled, with many 'super hero' traits. Most commonly, they are extremely strong, can fly, and have incredible regenerative properties³. Most importantly, SCP-XXXX-X-Betas retain the knowledge and general personality the person had in their life, including any anomalous abilities.

Once a Beta has found its intended target, the Beta will undergo any method (including altering its appearance to be seen as normal) in order to produce an emotional response in its victim. (For examples of such attacks, see Addentum-XXXX-X-2). Once the Beta has caused an emotional reaction, the Beta will thrust their hand into their victims chest, pulling out their heart. As the heart calcifies, witnesses have reportted hearing a voice stating its 'power level'. Based on attack reports, this unknown 'power level' goes up .██% percent each time for a mundane target, ██% if the target is a sentient SCP.

After attacking its intended target, a Beta will attack any and all targets in its vicinity. Targets witnessing the earlier attack are generally scared and frightened, making them ideal secondary targets for the Beta. However, Betas after harvesting do not possess their 'special' traits, and can be destroyed as easily as the living person was. Once incapacitated, the Beta's body will immediately turn to ash, leaving only SCP-XXXX-X remaining⁴.

Addendum XXXX-X-1: Reanimation Procedure

Step One: SCP-XXXX-X rotates around the corpse three times.
Step Two: An unknown voice, presumably from within SCP-XXXX-X, states the corpse's name and location⁵
Step Three: SCP-XXXX-X attaches itself to the ring finger of the corpse's dominant hand.
Step Four: SCP-XXXX-X speaks again, saying only "████".
Step Five: The corpse, now SCP-XXXX-X-Beta, decomposes significantly.
Step Six: SCP-XXXX-X-Beta revives, immediately seeks out a target.

Addendum XXXX-X-3: On ██/██/20██, a Beta escaping containment attempted to target Dr. █████████, who was experimenting on SCP-316. With no other way to defend herself, █████████ activated the object at the Beta. Surprisingly, this incapacitated the Beta, destroying the SCP-XXXX-X as well. Further research to explain how such thing was successful is ongoing.

2. In ██% of occasions, the clothes the corpse was in will be altered as well. The color of the fabric will become black, and variations on the triangle-and-lines motif appear. How or why SCP-XXXX-X does this is currently unknown.

3. Studies have shown that 8█% of an SCP-XXXX-X-Beta's tissue can be destroyed and be regenerated by SCP-XXXX-X

4. Instances of SCP-XXXX-X have never been seen targeting corpses killed by a Beta, making retrieval of them easier than would otherwise be.
