Description: SCP-XXX takes the form of a green hardcover book, Originally found in [DATA REDACTED], on ██-██-19██, No copyright, nor author name has been located, no story title.

When SCP-XXX is opened, it fills the room with illusory versions of the Subject's worst fears, with SCP-XXX hiding somewhere in the room, one can cancel the illusion by either shutting the book, or leaving the room.

Those in the room, should their fears be of something attacking, it will attack, causing them to get wounded, but once the book is shut, the wounds vanish.
The body also creates symptoms matching the wounds, if a leg gets cut off, you will lose feeling in the leg, and a gradual feeling of coldness(like one would due to blood loss).
Anything fatal causes the subject to go into a comatose state for twenty-four hours, the only times anyone truly dies is if someone has a heart attack, or commits suicide.

One can actually read the book, one D-class personnel claimed it was “A pretty good read.”, the contents of the book vary from subject to subject, attempts to read the book via robot or camera reveal nothing besides blank pages.
