Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be preserved in an 80x80x80 centimeter cube of solid water ice. The
cube containing SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 2x2x2 meter room. This room is to be kept at a temperature no
higher than -57°C. At least two (2) agents must be stationed on guard outside this room at all times.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the carcass of an organism, measuring eleven (11) kilograms in weight and seventy (70)
centimeters in length. No name following standard scientific procedure of binomial nomenclature reffering to
SCP-XXXX esists, however, SCP-XXXX is known colloquially as the "Montauk Monster" and "The Hound of Bonacville"
by the public. The carcass of SCP-XXXX is classified as Safe, however, the traits of SCP-XXXX alive are unknown,
thus alive SCP-XXXX would be classified as Eucluid.
SCP-XXXX is the unintended result of experiments conducted at the Plum Island
█████-███████████ ██████████████ Center (PIEDEC), known to the public as the Plum Island Animal Disease Center
(PIADC). Said experiment involved the "teleportation" (according to Dr. ██████) of one (1) subject (Procyon lotor) and
another (Chelonia mydas) using [DATA EXPUNGED]. Had the experiment gone as expected, results would have
[DATA EXPUNGED]. However, SCP-XXXX was produced, a "combination" (according to Dr. ██████) of the two (2) subjects.
The two (2) PIEDEC personnel conducting the experiment, Dr. ██████ and Dr. ███████, immediately exterminated SCP-XXXX,
and dumped SCP-XXXX into the Atlantic Ocean.
After █████ (█) days SCP-XXXX washed ashore near Montauk, New York on
07/██/2008. SCP-XXXX was discovered by J████ H██████ and three (3) individuals accompanying her. One (1)
photograph was taken of SCP-XXXX by Ms. H██████. Shortly following SCP-XXXX's discovery, two (2) Foundation
agents obtained SCP-XXXX, following a request by Director █████ of PIEDEC.
The account of Ms. H██████ and her photograph of SCP-XXXX received national media attention. The public tried to
identify SCP-XXXX as a known species. On 08/01/2008, Foundation agent Darren Naish was given the task of reducing
media attention. Naish, known to the public as a paleontologist, claimed SCP-XXXX was a Procyon lotor. This was
accepted, quelling media attention.
