Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to potential misuse, SCP-XXXX is to be kept away from any sub-level 3 personnel. It is currently stored in a secure containment room at site ██ and is not to be moved without written order from any personnel with a security clearance level of at least 4.

Description: SCP-XXXX consists of two (2) empty wardrobes (SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2), big enough for one human subject to enter each, and one (1) handheld, wireless control panel (SCP-XXXX-3), roughly the size of a standard cigarette pack. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are attached to each other by their backs using [DATA EXPUNGED]. As of now, there is no known way to seperate SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-3's surface shows a knob in the middle, two buttons, one to the left and one to the right of the knob, and a small 10-digit monochrome display. A small, green LED light is installed in the upper right corner and lights up once both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are occupied by at least one subject per object. Once the light turns on, the knob can be freely moved clockwise and counter-clockwise with a number on the display incrementing or decrementing depending on the knob's position. When one of the buttons is pressed, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 begin shaking rigorously and a loud, high-frequency noise is emitted. 15 seconds later, one of the wardrobes opens, depending on the button pressed (with the left button corresponding to SCP-XXXX-1 and the right button corresponding to SCP-XXXX-2) and the subject within appears fully unharmed. The other wardrobe then is empty, showing no sign of the previously contained subject.

Should two or more smaller subjects be in one of the wardrobes when one of the buttons is pressed, the display on SCP-XXXX-3 shows the word "ERROR", the LED light turns off and all of the subjects in both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 disappear immediately without a trace. Note that [DATA EXPUNGED].

SCP-XXXX-3 is made of standard polyethylene and is fully destructible; however, when SCP-XXXX-3 is destroyed, another, fully functional instance of it appears in [REDACTED] immediately. The remains of the previous SCP-XXXX-3 do not disappear and can be recycled and reused without any side effects.

SCP-XXXX's function is currently not fully known, however, a preliminary theory, based on experimentation, exists (refer to Experiment Logs XXXX-1 and XXXX-2). According to Dr. V████████'s theory, SCP-XXXX adds the chosen number of years to one subject's life span at the cost of the other subject's life. Further experiments will be scheduled to either confirm or disprove. See Addendum XXXX-B.

Addendum XXXX-A: Experimentation has shown that SCP-XXXX only affects human beings and does not react with inanimate objects. Refer to Experiment Log XXXX-3.

Addendum XXXX-B: Following Incident XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX has been reclassified as Euclid. Testing will be continued.
