Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept contained in a small, artificial neighborhood isolated from any other streets in a 2-kilometer radius. The containment area is to be monitored at all times for a change in SCP-XXXX activities, and all activities should be logged and reported to Dr. ███████ as soon as possible.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an apparently average United States street sign which reads "Hidden Lane". SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest in three phases. A non-active phase, an in-flux phase, and an active phase.
Non-Active Phase: During the non-active phase, SCP-XXXX will replace a standard street sign, with no other anomalous effects besides the removal of the original sign. SCP-XXXX will then remain dormant for approximately 2 weeks before beginning the in-flux phase. Any attempts to remove SCP-XXXX from its location during the non-active phase have resulted in SCP-XXXX either returning to the original location or moving to a new location while in transport.
In-flux Phase: In the in-flux phase, SCP-XXXX will begin to exhibit

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard Foundation-issue disc case and locked in a safe-class containment locker in Research Sector 2 at Site 17. Testing is only to be carried out by Dr. ██████ or by Researcher ███████, and all tests are to be recorded in video and audio, as well as transcribed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a DVD labelled "INFORMATION". The data surface of the object is slightly scratched or otherwise marred in some places; however, this does not appear to affect the object's operational capabilities. SCP-XXXX is able to be played through any standard device capable of playing content from DVDs.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties become apparent when the object is inserted into any DVD player. When the disk is played, a single frame reading "THERE ARE NO ACTORS IN THIS FILM. WHAT YOU WILL SEE AND HEAR IS REAL." appears on screen and holds for 5 seconds. After approximately 30 seconds, a video will begin playing. The nature of the content of these videos varies greatly. The content is usually private, confidential, filmed from an impossible location, or at a time when no such recording device would have existed. The length of the video is variable, but is never less than 2 minutes, and never greater than 10 minutes. The same video has never been shown twice.

Flashlight of similar apparent make to SCP-232 |
---|
Item #: SCP-232
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-232 is to be kept in a sealed, steel container in Storage Sector 5 of Site 17 during all times in which it is not being used in research or testing. Dr. ██████ and Senior Researcher ████ are to oversee all use of the item for research and testing purposes, and are to be notified any time the object is removed from containment for any reason. No personnel are to be permitted within 5 meters of the object at any time. Personnel are to use the automated object retrieval system to remove the object from containment.
Description: SCP-232 is a flashlight bearing resemblance to a ███████ brand heavy-duty flashlight for use in military or police applications. However, the object bears no identifying marks or manufacturer markings. The one exception is the engraving of the name "Jack" followed by the year "1999". These appear to have been engraved through the use of an object such as a key or knife, due to their rough nature. The object was found as a result of a string of ██ missing persons reports emerged from a small town in [DATA REDACTED]. As a result of the subsequent federal investigation, local implanted Foundation personnel detected and acquired the object. Aside from its anomalous properties the device accepts two normal D-cell alkaline batteries, and will function as a standard flashlight.
The anomalous properties of the object only manifest after a human has entered within 5 meters of the object itself, regardless of any intervening material between the two. Living beings besides humans are not affected by the object's anomalous properties. Upon coming within 5 meters of SCP-232, the subject will attempt to seek out the object, regardless of how hidden it is, or any prior knowledge as to the existence of the object. Upon the subject's apprehension of SCP-232, they will proceed to leave the room through the nearest exit, using force if necessary. From this point forward, SCP-232's anomalous effects become apparent through a 4-stage progression.
Stage I: The first stage of anomalous activity begins immediately upon the subject exiting the room in which they acquired SCP-XXXX. After exiting the room, the subject will immediately lose consciousness for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. After waking from this

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a 1m x 1m lead-lined steel box to be stored at Research Sector 4 at Site 17 at all times when it is not being tested or studied. SCP-XXXX is to be kept under audio and video surveillance at all times during containment and testing, and Senior Researcher ██████ is to be notified at any time the object becomes active. All data the object produces is to be recorded both digitally and physically and stored within a secure vault on-site. If any data the object produces is of risk to The Foundation, it is to be forwarded as soon as possible to the nearest Site Administrator.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a seismograph of unknown make and manufacture, procured by Agent ████ during a raid on a Marshall, Carter & Dark Ltd. warehouse in [REDACTED]. The object appears to be composed of an unknown material which resembles glass, but contains traces of elements not normally occurring on Earth. The object is a center "post" with 3 outlying platforms which each have one roll of paper, two electrical motors, and a small pen. One platform of the device measures magnitude of the event in a fashion similar to ordinary seismographs, another records the location in longitude and latitude, and the final platform records the date and time (The predicted time of the event has shown a deviation of ±█ minutes). Paper is to be regularly supplied when SCP-XXXX runs out, to prevent missing an event.
SCP-XXXX is able to record seismic activity from anywhere on the Earth. In addition, SCP-XXXX is occasionally able to predict seismic activity from the future. The method or mechanism through which it detects and measures seismic events is unknown. Foundation researchers were able to determine the function of SCP-XXXX when a recording from SCP-XXXX was discovered to correlate with seismic records of the March 2011 earthquake in Japan, as well as the aftershocks of said earthquake. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX chooses which events to report, as it is not reporting all seismic activity in the world. It is theorized that SCP-XXXX only reports those events that are relevant to large amounts of people or to its current "owner."
Addendum:
Recorded Output From SCP-XXXX:
Event XXXX-1
Date: 10/18/2011
Location: 27.723°N, 88.064°E, India-Nepal Border
Magnitude: 6.9
Event XXXX-2
Date: █/██/2016
Location: 37.692°N, 122.324°E, San Francisco, California
Magnitude: 9.2
Event XXXX-3
Date: ██/██/████
Location: ██.███°N, ██.███°E, near Site ██
Magnitude: 5.8
Event XXXX-4
Date: ██/██/████
Location: Activity detected from multiple locations within ~19 minutes of each other. Numerous large cities and many Foundation sites appear to be locations given by the device.
Magnitude: Varying depending on location. The similarity of readings indicates detonations of warheads rather than natural earthquakes.
SCP-XXXX's prediction of record amounts of nuclear detonations within a short period on ██/██/████ is especially worrying given the increasing frequency with which numerous SCPs are predicting a XK-class event on dates coinciding with or near this date (Including SCP-███, SCP-████, and SCP-████). All precautions are to be taken regarding containment procedure adherence and we are to be weary of outside factions, as well as uncontained anomalous objects. As far in the future as this date is, it is always best to start preparations early. When you have prior notice of a situation, take advantage of it.
Remember: Secure, Contain, Protect.

SCP-1058 during testing at Site ██ on █/██/████ |
---|
Item #: SCP-1058
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1058 is to be kept in Humanoid Containment Wing 2 of Site 17. Due to the nature of the subject's anomalous behavior, the floor of the cell is to be covered with 1cm of sand, to be replenished every two weeks. The cell is to be lit by only a single light source at all times. The source should be ceiling mounted, with redundant backups in case of failure.
Description: SCP-1058 appears to be an approximately 60 year old male human, possibly from the southern United States. The subject was recovered from a Marshall, Carter and Dark Ltd. "distribution center" in ███████, ██. The subject is fully sentient and capable of speech, as well as interaction with physical objects.
SCP-1058's anomalous properties manifest as a total invisibility to all forms of direct observation. Despite this, the subject does cast a shadow. In addition, SCP-1058's shadow causes the surface or object which it falls upon to alter it's appearance towards that of the subject. The speed and mechanism of the process appear to be dependent on the density, state, and other physical characteristics of the substance the subject's shadow is being cast on. Sand and other granulated or powdery substances seem to be the quickest affected by SCP-1058, with metals and other hard materials being among the slowest affected.
Any object attached to the subject also comes under its effect, becoming invisible to direct observation, and altering the appearance of the effect of the subject's shadow on the material. Anything removed from the subject becomes visible, this includes clothes and accessories, as well as pieces of hair, blood samples, and other bodily effects.
Addendum:
Test Log 1058-1
██/█/████
Subject: SCP-1058
Test Coordinator: Senior Researcher ██████
Testing Environment: Standard Foundation 5m x 5m x 5m testing cell. Floor was covered in approximately 1cm of sand for the duration of the test, and SCP-1058 was placed on a chair in the center of the cell. At the start of the test, all but a single light was turned off until the conclusion of the test.
00.01.00: A visible ridge of sand appears to form on the sand on the side of SCP-1058 opposite the lamp in the shape of the subject with his arms by his side.
00.01.37: SCP-1058 is instructed to lift his arms above his head. Subject complies.
00.01.44: The sand ridge is observed to "tumble", following the movement of the subject. The affected area began to gain a more detailed likeness of the subject regardless of movement.
00.02.08: Subject is instructed to wave arms rapidly. Subject complies before returning his arms to the original position.
00.02.15: The sand remains stationary. Affected area ceases movement as the hypothesized maximum level of detail is reached, being little more than a silhouette with creases at the ankles, waist, wrists, neck, and hairline.
00.02.40: Test ended.
Test Conclusion: The subject's effect on the material it is projected onto is preceded by an unmeasured amount of "lag" before the material is altered to reflect movement.
Test Log 1058-2
██/█/████
Subject: SCP-1058
Test Coordinator: Senior Researcher ██████
Testing Environment: Standard Foundation 5m x 5m x 5m testing cell. Floor was covered in a large piece of sheet metal, and SCP-1058 was placed on a chair in the center of the cell. At the start of the test, the light source was placed so that it shined upon SCP-1058 from a different angle.
00.00.19: Surface of the metal in the subject's shadow begins to show signs of corrosion and rust.
00.05.14: Subject falls asleep. Portion of the metal affected remains the same besides gaining additional detail slower than before, contrary to the slight changes in subject's posture.
00.23.55: Subject is woken up, instructed to get out of chair.
00.24.10: Chair observed to have changed color in accordance to the subject's immediate shadow.
00.24.14: Color of chair gradually returns to previous state. The corrosion and rust on the metal remains. No other anomalous properties observed.
00.25.40: Test ended.
Test Conclusion: Speed of the effect appears to be based on the subject's state. The duration of the effect on the material also appears to be based on the mechanism by which it is effected, not only the physical properties of that material.

SCP-XXXX before anomalous traits began to manifest. |
---|
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
N/A. SCP-XXXX is currently orbiting the Earth at an altitude of approximately 290km, with an average ground speed of 28,046kph. SCP-XXXX has not changed it's orbital pattern since its discovery. A standard Foundation shadow satellite is to be detailed to SCP-XXXX at all times to monitor for displacement failure. Care must be taken to ensure that standard satellites and other orbiting bodies do not come within 50 km of SCP-XXXX for fear of a collision.
Description:
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties were discovered during its third flight on December ██, 19██. SCP-XXXX's official title is "████████" (Orbiter Designation OV-100) and it is currently in low Earth orbit.
The first recognition of anomalous traits was during a post-flight diagnostics check in which it was discovered that the clocks onboard SCP-XXXX were out of sync with clocks from the Mission Control Center more than could be explained by traditional means. On SCP-XXXX's next flight, it carried the [REDACTED] module, which was a Foundation sensor bundle disguised as a military surveillance satellite. The flight was completed successfully and the sensor bundle was returned to Foundation custody. The sensors showed that during the mission, the clocks on the shuttle had run approximately █% slower than their Earthbound counterparts, resulting in a temporary temporal "displacement" of █ hours, ██ minutes and █ seconds. Mass and gravitational sensors aboard the package read nominal in every test: before, during and after spaceflight. The next flight to exhibit anomalous properties was the object's seventh flight. Foundation sensor packages on board the craft detected a temporal displacement of over █ day, █ hours and ██ minutes. The anomaly was passed off as a small failure in the craft's propulsion systems, leading to a delay in breaking orbit. No more anomalous effects were recorded for the next 18 missions.
During the routine actions of the object's twenty-seventh mission, an ongoing temporal and spatial displacement occurred approximately seven hours after orbit was achieved. Since this anomaly appeared, SCP-XXXX has neither responded to nor attempted to initiate communications with NASA or The Foundation. All onboard instruments stopped responding to transmissions after this point. From an external reference point, SCP-XXXX seems to be completely encased in a silver ellipsoid. SCP-XXXX is undergoing no orbital decay, and is orbiting approximately ██% faster now than it was at the time the displacement occurred. Occasionally the displacement will fail for an unpredictable amount of time, which appears to be lengthening with each iteration, with some deviation. During failures in the displacement instruments respond normally, but communication with the crew has not been accomplished. It is unlikely that they have left the vehicle, as telemetry reports that all airlocks are non-functional.

"Infectious Moths"
A painting "infected" with SCP-XXXX shortly after containment |
---|
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Special Containment Procedures: Any items infected with SCP-XXXX are to be contained separately inside hermetically sealed containers at Storage Sector 4, Site 17 except when undergoing testing by authorized Foundation personnel. Senior Researcher ██████ is to be alerted whenever an instance of SCP-XXXX has destroyed its host. Any new instances of SCP-XXXX are to be immediately contained by Mobile Task Force Tau-8 "Art Critics".
Description: SCP-XXXX is what appears to be a large mass of moths which will congregate on paintings, particularly those on canvas, for use as a food source. SCP-XXXX is theorized to be a weaponized version of the common light brown apple moth (Epiphyas postvittana), meant to destroy popular or culturally important works of art. However, SCP-XXXX does not appear to be able to differentiate between works of art, and will successfully "colonize" any work it is introduced to, regardless of quality or cultural significance. After an instance of SCP-XXXX has completed feeding on a host object, it will disperse in an attempt to reach another host. Unless another food source can be established, the individual members of SCP-XXXX will expire and appear to "dissolve" after death.
Appendum:
Shortly after the containment of the first confirmed case of SCP-XXXX, a letter was received by a popular art critic residing in New York City, who has since been administered Class B Amnesiacs and returned to normal life. The letter read as follows:
As a fellow admirer of the arts, I cordially invite you to the opening of a brand-new radical art exhibit opening soon in galleries near you! Just keep an eye out for the moths, you'll know it when you see them!

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX has been severed from all surrounding road networks. The area is to be monitored for any signs that SCP-XXXX is attempting to reconnect to surrounding roadways. SCP-XXXX is to be under surveillance at all times to monitor for unauthorized traffic. Any and all testing on SCP-XXXX is to be managed and performed in cooperation with Mobile Task Force Tau-9 "Road Trippers".
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a section of roadway in the midwestern United States, formerly highway US ███. It was constructed in 19██ as part of the expansion of the United States Numbered Highway system. Anomalous properties emerged roughly ██ years later, at which point the area was quarantined until containment procedures could be put into place.
The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX are apparent only after the subject has driven approximately 500 meters. At the 500 meter mark, the subject will encounter a sign reading "SURVIVE THIS DRIVE". Past this point, the roadway will make abrupt changes to itself, with the end result of creating a course which is increasingly difficult to drive. After having driven approximately 1.6 kilometers past the starting sign, the changes in the roadway will render the course impossible to drive.
Addendum:
Exploration Log XXXX-1
Subject: D-32154
Date: 04/13/20██
00.05.14: Subject passes the first sign.
00.07.42: Subject encounters a perfect 90° right turn in a 70km/h zone.
00.24.10: Subject reports a straightaway longer than possible in the area. Subject also reports speed limit signs reading upwards of 400km/h.
00.30.04: Video feeds indicate that the straightaway suddenly cuts away into a sharp hairpin turn, subject was traveling at over 150km/h at the time, and failed to make the turn.
00.30.40: Subject's vehicle rolls over during attempted turn, causing the subject to be forcefully ejected from the vehicle, subsequently being killed on impact.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be masked as condemned, with a standing guard of 4 security personnel on site inside the first area at all times to prevent unauthorized access to the anomalous site.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an abandoned train station in Northeast Canada. The layout of the station is approximately normal for stations of its size and type, with few deviations. SCP-XXXX came to the attention of The Foundation after a group of teenagers went missing in the immediate vicinity. Subsequent investigation by agents embedded in the regional police force led to the discovery of SCP-XXXX and it's anomalous properties.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest as an extradimensional extension of the interior space of the building. Upon entry, the decrepit nature of the artifact is apparently nonexistant, with the interior appearing pristine and fully furnished. Any door which would normally lead outside of the building, besides the door which was used to enter, will now lead to another station concourse. All of these concourses appear to be fully furnished, and each one is radically different from the next. This leads researchers to believe that each concourse is from a different station.
